What makes Artisan Florals unique? Artisan Florals is the name I chose for my business because of my interest in bringing forward floristry as art. I wanted to provide customers more than the 1-800 standard wire service pieces or even the standard florist shop pieces. I work to create one-of-a-kind pieces of floral art. I am not speedy--I work at a snail's pace to make sure that my choices for color, flower and greenery types, and placement are what I believe create the aesthetic I am working towards based on what customers have asked me for or each time I am trusted with using my own flair. Each bloom, no matter how far I have to travel to acquire it, is chosen specifically and intentionally. I don't have coolers filled with mass amounts of flowers for quick 'grab and go' pieces. I choose and buy carefully for each and every event. I choose my flowers through local flower farms and distributors so I can make sure to acquire the 'perfect' elements for my designs, and even grow some select flowers. Two years ago, I changed my business model and got away from the florist routine of speedily-made daily delivery pieces. I began the change of moving from florist to floral artist. I only create for weddings, events, and holidays, now, as I want my work to be pieces of art. I have been blessed with customers who appreciate the difference they find with my creations and I am infinitely grateful for both new and return customers.
